PeopleSoft Developer

Candidate Qualifications and Requirements:
Five+ years experience in HRMS PeopleSoft application development with emphasis on PeopleCode, Workflow, and SQR development is required
Two+ years experience in PeopleSoft HRMS 8.9 and PeopleTools 8.48 is required
Two+ years of experience supporting Benefits is preferred
Good functional knowledge in all areas of HRMS is preferred
Two+ years experience working with C/S architecture using HP-UNIX (OS) or LINUX (OS) and Oracle (DB) is required
Familiarity with development tools (Toad, Telnet, FTP, PVCS, SQL+, etc.) is preferred.
Demonstrated strong teamwork, interpersonal and communications skills.
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated strong negotiation and consulting skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze and understand client requirements for maintenance or enhancement of supported PeopleSoft applications
Perform client requested maintenance or enhancements to supported applications using standard development tools supported by Information Technology Services department
Prepare, collect and file appropriate documentation to satisfy General Computing Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements .
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers and clients. Project Background an integrated electric utility and has been running PeopleSoft HRMS applications since 1996 has been on release 8.9 since August, 2007. The person filling this requisition should be prepared to perform the day to day activities associated with keeping the HR department clients working at peak efficiency through their support of PeopleSoft HRMS and its interfacing applications.
