Electronic Technician – Raleigh

CDI has an exciting opportunity waiting for you! We are looking for exceptional people! We have an immediate need for an Electronic Technician!

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A.S. in Electronics. Use of laboratory test equipment: spectrum analyzers, receivers, multi-meters, oscilloscopes. Experience with EMC compliance testing preferred. Good soldering skills, both small surface mount and larger through-hole components. Position requires an individual who is self-motivated, team-oriented, proactive, attentive to detail, task oriented, and able to overcome obstacles to meet schedule requirements. Experience operating and testing high voltage, high power AC/DC power systems. Ability to safely install and energize power conversion equipment in lab environment. Extreme attention to detail is required. Safety awareness is critical. Experience with electrical & mechanical lab fabrication tools. Ability to operate, maintain & adapt/develop computer controller test equipment.

DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES :
Performs product tests to ensure product meets product safety and performance requirements while adhering to project schedules, budgets and safe work procedures. Supports design and development team as needed. Builds, tests, troubleshoots and repairs power electronics and other electrical systems in a laboratory environment. May write tests reports.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL 5-7 years of experience as electronics technician


Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. Must have good vision and hearing ability.
